Welcome

Hello and welcome to the XHTML & CSS section of my Showcase.

Please use the Navigation bar at the top to browse through my different designs or to return to my portfolio site.

Notes

I was looking to create a clean design that still retained elegance. From the start I knew I wanted to use a silhouette of Big Ben, and as soon as I had created it, the moon and bats just came to my mind.

I also wanted to make use of colours that I generally hadn't used before, sticking to the pastel side of things, as opposed to my usual inclination towards stronger colours.

I chose the Bell MT and Century Gothic typefaces to support the feel of grace and refinement.

XHTML & CSS

This collection of different website designs, coded in pure XHTML & CSS, is designed to showcase my CSS/Design abilities.

Javascript is only used for the Navigation bar which will remain constantly at the top as you browse the different designs. Please note that its style will alter to fit its parent pages' CSS.

Also, be aware that all the links, apart from those within the Navigation bar, the Footer, and any photography credits, do not lead anywhere.
