Stepping Stones NHC
Stepping Stones is a new concept in natural health care, bringing together experienced, qualified practitioners in some of the most established alternative therapies to a purpose built environment.
The first challenge for this project was to nail the Brand Identity. The client had a very clear idea for the image the company should portray, and by working closely with them, I was able to develop a look & feel.
This was incorporated into the Logo which was the very first thing I designed, and was further implemented into the design of the Care Clinic itself, as well as the business cards and other print materials.
The design for the website came naturally since we had already established rules for the Brand Image.
The design supported the Company Image by utilising the Brand colours, using subtle textures to support the natural feel and a minimal look to achieve a sense of elegance.
The feel was further enhanced by the combination of dynamic javascript & AJAX to provide a slick user interface. Progressive Enhancement was used so that non-javascript users would be able to access a static site which did not feel degraded.
