JAM Builders
JAM Builders is a Specialist & General Building Contractors, serving the South-West of London (UK) and beyond.
The client was looking for a website redesign which would better enhance their Company Image, as well as better showcasing their work online.
The biggest challenge with this project was the organization & presentation of the mutlitude of skills that the JAM had to offer. Through in-depth discussions we managed to categorize the available services into 3 main sections. This not only helped the site navigation, but also helped make the available information more digestible for users.
The actual design of the user interface went smoothly, with the first design I created being used for the final site. Apart from sticking to the Logo colours, to support the established Company Image (which are also reflected at the Office and the fleet of JAM Builders vehicles), I also ensured that only straight lines were used throughout the design as it reflected JAM's own design work.
The page design incorporates as many photographic elements as possible which helps keep JAM's work at the forefront, and helps keep visual interest. In addition, inter-site links are used frequently throughout the text to keep users moving around the site, so that they end up being directed to all the information available.
